BUILDING A VIDEO GAME EMULATOR

For a little Princess

Christmas Angel's birthday is coming.  Time to build a pint sized Pink and Lavender video game emulator for the little girl.

This cabinet's design will be based on this drawing:  Click here

  The pictures of progress:

25 September 2010

I've got to make a MAME that will match this?

So, it begins. One very pink monitor.

8 October 2010

Got the software working. It didn't just run like it did on the last cabinet. Software exists for the sole purpose of making me look foolish.

16 October

Got the sides of the pint sized MAME cut from 3/4" MDFB.

The cabinet is coming together.

18 October 2010

Got the computer drawer installed. Not too far from priming.

22 October 2010

Primed and ready for the first sanding.

9 January 2011

Got the marque, and bezel done.

15 Janruary 2011

Laying out the conrol panel.

Holes drilled

Buttons and Joysticks attached.

The assembly viewed from the bottom.

Inital wiring... probably need to find some wire ties.

Assigning the control buttons.

Working out the bugs, left is up, right is down? Do'h!.
