Zaphod Beeblebrox:
"There's a whole new life stretching out ahead of you". Marvin: "Oh, not another one". - Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy I may be the only person in the world whose dreams continue to get put on hold because opportunity keeps showing up and kicking in the door. So once again, everything in my life seems to be subject to change at any moment. What can I say? Change is good and failure is not an option, blah, blah, blah. I can't wait to see what's next. Don't get me wrong; I'm not complaining, my God, things could always be worse. Oh, how horrible, I have to postpone full time sailing a few more years to make a bunch more money working at something I do well and enjoy doing.... poor, poor me. Can you feel the sarcasm? Anyhow, looks like my 3-5 year schedule for casting off the lines has been pushed out to 10-15, because of some things going on here that I'm really not at liberty to post all over the internet. If you really want to know, I'd be happy to tell you in a less public forum. [e-mail] Of course all this is subject to change at any moment. Ha! Ha! I just can't bring myself to pass up an opportunity like this, or I wouldn't be postponing the sailing date. This delay in sailing means my way of life needs to be modified a bit for this long stretch on the beach. I will still be sailing around the South Eastern U.S. in the meantime, but the Caribbean will be a little out of my reach for a while. So, if assumption is the mother of all fuck ups, and necessity is the mother of invention, then life on the beach is the mother of "stuff" collections. The lovely and gracious Kellie and I are now having a home built here in the Jacksonville area (see the side bar). Wouldn't you know it, I take three years to minimize my existence, and now I have to start collecting "stuff". Oh well, here we go again, ha ha! My life kicks ass. I must be doing something right. Check out the home construction page in addition to the much leaner (as compared to the 1st year) boat project 2006-2007 page.
